Michael Mazza, President and Chief Executive Officer of Scarborough and Rouge Hospital Foundation, is a champion for health care and has an impressive background as an innovative fundraiser and leader.
Since joining Scarborough and Rouge Hospital Foundation team in March 2009, Michael has aggressively worked to strengthen donor relations in one of the world’s most diverse communities. His tagline “Strong Communities Build Strong Hospitals” has played a key role in educating a largely new Canadian community about the role it plays in having access to great health care and the importance of unity to achieve The Scarborough Hospital’s vision of being recognized as Canada’s leader in providing the best health care for a global community.
Michael has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Toronto and is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Association of Health Care Professionals and holds the professional designation, Certified Fund Raising Professional (CFRE). Active in the Scarborough community, Michael sits on the Board of Directors for the Scarborough Walk of Fame and coaches youth football for The Scarborough Thunder.
