Walk with Heart
September 15 and 29, 2018

The staff and volunteers of the Central East LHIN Regional Cardiac Care Program are excited to announce that the annual Walk with Heart fundraiser returns for another year in support of the cardiovascular rehabilitation services in your community.

This year, two fundraising walks will take place:

Saturday, September 29, 2018 – Morningside Park, Scarborough

In the spirit of community-building, the September 29th walk in Scarborough has partnered with SRH Foundation’s Brave T.O. fundraiser. All Cardiac Walk participants will walk alongside Brave T.O. participants to support transforming health care in our community.

Annual Sip, Shop & Celebrate Women event

Sip, Shop & Celebrate Women

Sip, Shop & Celebrate Women is the Scarborough Women of Philanthropy Council’s signature event. What started as a modest event of 200 people in 2014 has grown to more than 500 guests annually.

Guests will have an opportunity to shop for the holiday season from local vendors, bid on a wide selection of auction items, and enjoy a drink all  in support of Scarborough and Rouge Hospital.

Proceeds from the event will go towards developing a new Breast Centre at Scarborough and Rouge Hospital.

Fairchild Radiothon

Scarborough and Rouge Hospital (SRH) Foundation is proud to welcome back Fairchild Radio to broadcast live on AM 1430 from the hospital’s General site in support of our pursuit to build a new chronic disease management facility in the Bridletowne neighbourhood. 

During the live broadcast between 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., listeners will hear touching stories from patients currently living with chronic conditions, as well as their dedicated team of health care professionals including: doctors, nurses, dietitians, social workers, and more.

Join us and help us raise $150,000 to transform health care in Scarborough.

Ms. Letna Allen-Rowe returns April 8th to host her 6th annual Healing Hope Fundraising Brunch in support of the cancer care program at Scarborough and Rouge Hospital.

This year’s event will feature the musical stylings of local artists Visionary, Corden Barrett, Carla Marie James, and event host Bro Gee from the Gospel Music Machine 89.5FM, as well as a stunning performance from the La’ Riatsila dance company. There will also be a fashion show and irresistible food to enjoy.
